Phencyclidine (PCP) remains a staple of professional drug testing — a required panel in federal workplace programs and one of the most requested analytes in occupational screening. MayFlower supplies PCP-inclusive cups in a CLIA-waived clinical configuration and in expanded forensic-use configurations for justice-system programs. Browse all wholesale drug test supplies to find the right configuration for your program.
12 Panel Drug Test Cup with PCP | CLIA Waived & FDA Cleared — detects PCP plus eleven additional commonly abused drugs. Built for workplace testing, healthcare, rehabilitation, staffing agencies, and probation programs, with 5-minute results, temperature strip, and leak-resistant lid. View the CLIA-waived 12 panel cup.
14 Panel Drug Test Cup with PCP, ETG & Fentanyl — pairs PCP with fentanyl and ETG alcohol in a forensic-use configuration for drug courts, corrections, and probation. View the 14 panel cup.
Our PCP panels use a 25 ng/mL cutoff — the standard threshold for rapid urine PCP screening. Results appear in about five minutes using competitive lateral-flow immunoassay; preliminary positives should be confirmed by a certified laboratory (GC-MS or LC-MS/MS).
Clinical and workplace programs needing FDA-cleared devices should choose the CLIA-waived 12 panel cup. Justice-system and monitoring programs whose policy allows expanded configurations can use the forensic-use 14 panel cup, which adds fentanyl and ETG alcohol alongside PCP.

PCP is phencyclidine, a dissociative anesthetic developed in the 1950s and now encountered as an illicit drug. It is one of the original SAMHSA-5 analytes, so PCP screening is built into federal workplace panels and remains standard in justice and safety-sensitive testing even though use rates are lower than for THC or opioids.
The standard urine screening cutoff for PCP is 25 ng/mL, the threshold used in federal workplace testing and on MayFlower cups. Results at or above the cutoff are reported as preliminary positives and can be confirmed by GC-MS, which uses a 25 ng/mL confirmation cutoff for phencyclidine as well.
PCP is typically detectable in urine for about 7–14 days after use. Because PCP is lipophilic and stored in fatty tissue, chronic heavy users can test positive for up to about 30 days. This long window makes urine PCP screening effective for supervision and workplace programs. See the PCP drug test cups collection for PCP-inclusive configurations.
PCP is included in MayFlower’s CLIA-waived 12 panel cup with PCP, the 14 panel forensic-use cup, and the 16 panel cup. When comparing configurations, verify PCP is printed on the panel list — some budget panels omit it to add trendier analytes.
Certain substances have been reported to cross-react with PCP immunoassays, including dextromethorphan (in some cough medicines), diphenhydramine, and some prescription medications. This is why PCP screening results are preliminary: a certified laboratory confirms positives by GC-MS before employment or legal consequences are applied.
Federal and DOT-regulated employers (as part of the SAMHSA-5 legacy panel), drug courts and probation departments, corrections, behavioral health programs, and pre-employment screening in safety-sensitive industries. PCP’s long detection window and association with unpredictable behavior keep it on justice and workplace panels.
PCP’s long urine window (7–14 days, longer for chronic use) means weekly or even biweekly random testing maintains deterrence, unlike short-window drugs such as cocaine that require frequent testing. Programs often combine the PCP-inclusive cup with fentanyl and ETG strips to cover both long-window and high-risk short-window substances in one collection.
Find the PCP strip on the cup panel map. Two lines (C and T) mean negative — even a faint test line counts as negative. One line at C only is a preliminary positive, and no control line means the strip is invalid and the test should be repeated. Read at 5 minutes and verify specimen temperature was 90–100 °F at collection.
PCP is one of the five drug classes in the traditional federal workplace panel (with THC, cocaine, amphetamines, and opioids), and it remains in the DOT urine panel. Private employers modeling their policy on the federal panel therefore keep PCP screening; MayFlower 12, 14, and 16 panel cups all include it.
